We're a couple of guys in our late thirties. We remember the days when it was all rubber keys, joystick interfaces and the Kempston Joystick was King. We run our own blog and podcast and even though we might be old, we're still down with all of the modern games and consoles.

The Johnus Maximus beard appreciation group
In honor of our great Halo 3 gamer night organiser, I give you the Johnus Maximus beard appreciation group. For to long has society opressed our beardy cousins, the handlebar, the mutton chops and the dreaded soul patch. Johnus has been a pioneer for CGUK and for all of beard kind, so lets join together and show our appreciation.

No Cash? No Problem! Daz and Nory from the Frugal Gaming website talk about the video gaming bargains they have found, where you can get them, and what pre-owned titles they recommend. Providing the fourth emergency service for gamers, they separate the wheat from the chaff of bargain bins nationwide. They also talk a little bit about superhero pants. Naturally.

This week with Dits on vacation we have a chance to have a special guest host join us. But rather then do that I opted to invite Daz and Nory from the famous Frugal Gaming website and podcast. Fresh off their podcasting tour which included stops at BigRedPotion and GamerDork, Daz and Nory grace the TGS studio with their presence, knowledge, and charm. But as they say you can take the boy off the farm, but you can never take back what he did to that animal, things in episode two are radically different then they were in episode one. We have all the same sections, but with that FGUK twist that makes it all that more fun to listen to. We also spend a little bit of time chatting about the recent Sony announcements, and collectively agree that the PSPGo is a deal at any price. So kick back, relax, and join us for a very special episode of The Gamer Scene podcast.
